TAing and all that

I have been a TA for quite some time now. But the last quarter has been very satisfying. To be honest, I feel so exhausted talking the whole Friday that the rest of evening goes into telling anyone who wants to listen how TAing sucks. However I hardly do any grading and I actually teach classes in recitation. That involves four hours of intese funda sessions each week. I dont know why but this quarter the number of ppl coming in for getting help during my office hours has also increased quite a bit. After a long time I feel I am doing something that is of value and that is helping me plough along.

Yes, PLOUGHING. It may not be far worse that being a grad student!!
